Eliza Dushku

Eliza was born in Boston, Massachusetts, and has three older borthers, Aaron, Ben and Nate. Eliza is part Albanian and part Danish and was raised in a strict Mormon household. In 1992, at the age of just 12, Eliza was picked out of many girls for a role in a film That Night, after this she appeareed in several other films, most notably starring alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies.

Eliza then took a few years away from acting in order to complete her schooling, however, shortly after graduating, she landed the role of Faith in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and went on to guest star in the spin off serioes Angel, returning to Buffy for the final 5 episodes.

When Buffy finished in 2003, Eliza was offered the chance to star as Faith in a further possible spin-off series, but chose instead to take a starring in role as a new character in her own series, Tru Calling, sadly the show was cancelled into its second season.

Since this time Eliza continued to work and built up quite a career in film, having 4 films released in 2007 and a further 2 in line for 2008. She starred in a pilot for Fox, Nurses, which did not get picked up but landed a deal with Fox and Twentieth Century Fox TV to star in a new project from them.

It was this deal that prompted her to seek advice from Joss Whedon as to how she should continue to manage her career, which in turn led him to come up with Dollhouse over lunch. A seven episode deal was struck with Fox and Eliza will star and executive produce the project which will start filming in April 2008 for a fall debut.

Olivia Williams

Olivia was born into a family of lawyes in London. She attended Newnham College, Cambridge where she obtained a degree in English.

After training for the stage at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Olivia toured with the Royal Shakespeare Company and got her first Hollywood film break when she was spotted by Kevin Costner and cast as Abby in The Postman. She went on to appear opposite Bruce Willis in Sixth Sense and had a small role in A Knight's Tale which was later cut. On the small screen she has guest starred in Friends and Spaced and most recently played Jane Austen in the TV movie, Miss Austen Regrets.

Trivia

Olivia practices Bikram Yoga, writes occasional travel reports for The Independent Traveller and has two young daughters.

Tahmoh Penikett

Tahmoh was born the son of the former Yukon Premier, Anthony David John Penikett, and was named by his mother who descended from the Upper Tanana Native American Tribe in Alaska.

Tahmoh attended and graduated from the Victoria Motion Picture School and also studied at the Lyric School of Acting in Vancouver.

Tahmoh made his screen debut in the TV Movie, Murder on the Iditarod Trail in 1996 and went on to guest star in series such as Dark Angel and Stargate SG-1 before landing the role of Helo in the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries in 2003. His character was not supposed to return for the main series but fan reactions was so good that a whole sub-plot was created for him.

Harry Lennix

Harry was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he attended Quigley Preparatory Seminary where he studied and intended to become a Domincan Priest. He went on to attend the Northwestern Universtity where he majored in Acting and Direction. On graduation he remained in Chicago and taught for a while before moving to New York and eventually Los Angeles.

Harry has made himself a good career in TV and Film, starring in movies such as Collatoral Damage, and the Matrrix Reloaded and Revolutions. On TV he has guest starred in ER, House and most recently 24.

Dichen Lachman

Dichen Lachman was born in Kathmandu, Nepal to a Tibetan mother and an Australian father. She lived there until the age of seven when she moved to Adelaide, Australia. .

Dichen attended Norwood Morialta High School, Annelsey College and the University of Adelaide from which she dropped out to pursue an acting career. Her most notable role, prior to landing the role of Sierra in Dollhouse, was a 14 month stint on the long-running Australian soap, Neighbours.
