Drusilla

In 1860, Drusilla was a young girl living in London, cursed with the 'sight'. That is, until Angelus spotted her and she became his latest obsession. Angelus set about visiting every torture he could devise on her, including posing as a priest in the confessional and telling her she was evil and killing all her family. He finally drives her mad and to a nunnery, on the day she takes her Holy Orders he raids the nunery, killing it's inhabitants and cavorts with Darla in front of Drusilla before turning her into a vampire.

Her madness makes her a very special kind of evil and she fits in well with her new family but she soon becomes tired of being a threesome and yearns for a companion of her own. On the streets of London she stumbles across a likely candidate, a bloody awful poet by the name of William who becomes her paramour.

The four have lots of fun rampaging around Europe and even as far as China. Eventually Dru and her lover, now known as Spike strike out for some adventures on their own ending up in Prague where they get caught up in any angry mob which almost kills Dru and leaves her much weakened. Seeking a cure, Spike and Dru head for the Hellmouth and here they find a ritual which will restore Dru's health and strength. The ritual requires the help of Dru's sire and fortunately a much changed, Angel is in the neighbourhood. Unfortunately, he has hooked up with the slayer and the ritual is interrupted leaving Dru restored but Spike injured.

Her first act as a fully operational vampire is to throw a party to welcome her present, an old demon by the name of The Judge. With the help of the newly de-souled Angelus, she and Spike unleash The Judge on the world, hoping to rid it of the plague of humans. Their little plan is ruined by the Slayer and so Dru is mightily pleased when Angelus comes up with another plan to destroy the world, raising the demon Acathla. Spike is not so keen, however, and betrays both Angelus and his beloved Dru and helps the Slayer save the world, then he and Dru hot foot it out of Sunnydale.

Dru, however is unable to forgive Spike for spoiling her fun and, with her gift of the sight, she can see that he has an unnatural obsession with Buffy before he can see it himself. In her grief at the loss of her lover, she leaves Spike, first for a Fungus demon and then for a Chaos demnon, leaving Spike to return to Sunnydale.

When law firm Wolfram and Hart resurrect Darla as a human, they track Drusilla down and brinh her to L.A. in order to turn Darla back into a vampire, which she does. The pair rampage around L.A., enjoying a massacre and gathering themselves an army, but Angel spoils their plans, kills their recruits and sets a trap for the pair which results in them being badly burnt.

Licking her wounds, Dru returns to Sunnydale to find Spike and win him back, but she finds him, as pedicted, in love with Buffy and, although she gives it her best shot, she cannot persuade him to go back to his evil ways and she leaves Sunnydale once more.

Larry Blaisdell

Larry was the typical Sunnydale High School football-playing macho bully with a secret, often to be seen leering at girls and picking on the weak. Until one day, Xander corners him in the school showers, suspecting him of being the werewolf that is terrorising Sunnydale, believing that Xander has learnt the truth and has a personal understanding of his situation; he admits to being gay. Their little chat leads to Larry 'coming out' and, finding that life is much better in his real skin, he advises Xander to do the same.

His new found lease of life though is not to last long as, together with the rest of the class of 1999, he fights in the battle of Graduation Day and loses his life.

Ethan Rayne

Back in his college years Ethan Rayne was a friend of one Rupert Giles, then known as Ripper. The pair, along with a group of friends would meet and dabble in the occult. One of the things they 'dabbled' with was the summoning of a demon named Eyghon. The ritual involved one person going into a deep sleep and allowing the demon to inhabit their body. The group split when Eyghon got tired of their games and permanently possessed one of the members.

Wheras Giles reformed his ways, Ethan continued to worship Chaos and one Halloween he finds himself in Sunnydale. Here hen opens a costume shop and, with the help of the god, Janus, causes the persons wearing his attire to turn into their costumes. Of course, Rupert Giles tracks him down and breaks the spell, ordering Ethan to leave. Whether he leaves Sunndyale or not is unknown, however, when the Eyghon comes seeking his past worshippers, Ethan appears once more in Sunnydale. The demon is working his way through the group, tracking them by th e'Mark of Eyghon' tattoo on their arms, and finally only Giles and Ethan remain. In an attemot to avoid certain death, Ethan lures Buffy to him and tattoos her with the mark, removing is own mark with acid. The scoobies, of course, come to the rescue and while, Giles, Buffy and Ethan all retain their lives, Ethan manages to slip out unnoticed.

Again it is unknown whether he actually left Sunnydale or not, but he sorcerous ways come into play again when The Mayor wants a little distraction while he gives the demon Lurconis his tribute of babies. To this end Ethan enchants chocolate bars which, when eaten by adults, make them return to their teenage selves. Once again his plans are thwarted by Buffy and co and once again he managed to escape unscathed.

His charmed life comes to an end, however, when he makes his (up to now) final appearance in Sunnydale. Seeking some fun and revenge at Giles expense, he meets with his old friend and spikes his drink with a potion that leaves him with more than just a hangover in the morning, it tuns him into a Fyarl demon. Believing something has murdered her Watcher, Buffy is soon hot on the tail of both Giles and Ethan, and thisd time he doesn't get away. With a little help from Riley and his The Initiative friends, Ethan is towed away and taken to a secure facility somewhere in Arizona.
